I have no idea what to expect from American Prince and American King, and that’s just the way I like it. This is the first solo book I’ve read by Sierra Simone, and color me impressed! American Queen wouldn’t be a good trilogy without one heck of a cliffhanger, and this one certainly delivers. Then again, these are flawed characters and perhaps not everything is meant to be fully understood at this point. I did have some concerns about Greer’s gullibility, as well as actions taken in the last couple chapters that seem contrary to decisions and character traits displayed earlier. This epic tale calls into question everyone’s motivations and incites conflicting emotions, all the while pushing boundaries and hurling the reader through multiple twists and turns towards Scandal Town at 200 miles per hour. The story is deftly woven and entirely engrossing thanks in no small part to the complexity of the characters. You’d better strap in because reading American Queen is one intoxicating thrill ride that will steal your breath. If you can’t handle the heat, get out of the kitchen. For all you Penny Pervies out there, I think I’ve found your Disney World of erotica. It’s HAWT! This book is hotter than Hades with some of the dirtiest, raunchiest, most thigh-clenching sex scenes I’ve probably ever read, including a ménage à trois to end all ménages.

It involves the relationships between the granddaughter of an influential politician and the two most powerful men in the country.

If you hate love triangles, don’t bother with this book. The story spans over two decades, beginning with the heroine as a young girl.It takes place against a political backdrop.Five things you should know about American Queen: Oh! My! Gosh! What did I just read?!?! Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor. My name is Greer Galloway, and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States. It starts with buried secrets and dangerous desires…and ends with the three of us bound together with a hateful love sharper than any barbed wire. It starts with the President sending his best friend to woo me on his behalf, and it ends with my heart split in two. It starts with a stolen kiss under an English sky, and it ends with a walk down the aisle. Published by Self-Published on October 24th 2016
